The band consists primarily of James Cox and Morgan Liveoak who contribute to guitar, vocals, drums, bass, keys, synth while in the studio. The touring lineup consists of James (Vocals/Guitar) Morgan (Lead Guitar) Jabari Temple (Drums) and about 4 different bass players. They believe that "while we are certainly proud of releasing music and connecting with the fans we have, we truly believe our potential as songwriters and performers has hardly been scratched”. The Mummy Cats have already written nearly 100 unreleased songs and plan on releasing new material in late 2023. Their first release came in 2020 with the song "Wolverine" which blends a multitude of flavors that provides a first taste into their unique songwriting style and abilities.
